below and follow this easy process:
- Go to the agreements page using the link above.
- Fill in your name, organization, title, and other personal information.
- Give the description of the file you are submitting. This same
description will be used on the website to explain your contribution.
- Click the [Browse] button and select the file that you have
prepared using the guidelines below. After you have highlighted
the desired file, click the [Open] button to continue.
- You should now see the location of your file in the text field
next to the [Browse] button.
- Read the agreement under which you are submitting your file.
- Select whether you are the true owner of the material you are
submitting.

Photo Guidelines
When contributing photos, here are a few guidelines to help you
prepare the image for transfer. Images for the internet are typically
no wider than 800
pixels. The preferred image formats in which to save an image are:
jpeg, gif,
or png. Generally, these files
are under 300 KB
in size. The use of photo editing software can greatly simplify
this process for you.

Document Guidelines
When contributing documents, please either scan them and submit
them using the photo guidelines (when originals are desired) or
send them in one of following formats: Microsoft Word (.doc),
Word Perfect (.wpd), Word Pad
(.rtf), Acrobat Reader (.pdf),
or Plain Text (.txt). If you
have a very large text file, you can greatly decrease its size for
upload by using a Zip utility such as FreeZip
or Power Archiver.

Multiple Files
When contributing multiple items, it is much easier to only have
to submit them as one file. To do this, you can use a zip utility
to create one zip file and submit it. If you use MS Windows XP,
you won't need any extra software. Just follow the steps below:
- Find your files in the file explorer (right-click on [Start]
and choose Explore).
- Once you have found your files, hold the control key down and
click once on each file. This will highlight them all.
- Once they are highlighted, right-click one of the files and
choose Compress to "somefile.zip".
The option won't actually have "somefile.zip", but the
name of the file you are clicking on.
- Your new zip file will appear in the same folder at the bottom
of the file list. You can now upload that zip file using the process
above.
If you do not have MS Windows XP, you can download any free zip
utility and create a zip file. A couple examples of zip utilities
are FreeZip
or Power Archiver.
